TRAMA AVATAR 2: LA VIA DELL'ACQUA Avatar 2: La Via dell'Acqua, il film diretto da James Cameron, è il sequel in live action del film campione d'incassi Avatar del 2009. La storia è ambientata diversi anni dopo gli eventi visti nel primo Avatar. Ritroveremo i due protagonisti Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) e Neytiri (Zoe Saldana) ancora insieme e con figli al seguito, pronti a esplorare lo sconfinato mondo di Pandora e ad affrontare nuovi conflitti con l'umanità. La coppia si troverà inoltre a fare i conti con i problemi coniugali, legati all'educazione dei propri figli. 4 anni dopo l'uscita del primo film della saga, il regista e produttore James Cameron annuncia le uscite dei tre primi seguiti di Avatar. E' annuncio che, come sappiamo bene, sarà solo il primo di una lunga lista, che vedrà rinviati di anno in anno gli arrivi di Avatar 2, Avatar 3 e Avatar 4. Vediamo nel dettaglio come sono andate le cose: Il primo annuncio, come dicevamo, risale a quasi 10 anni fa, era il 2013 quando Cameron prevede le uscite dei tre film rispettivamente per il 2016, 207 e 2018. CRITICA DI AVATAR 2: LA VIA DELL'ACQUA Avatar: La via dell'acqua è un raro esempio di cinema puro ad alto budget. Perché usa con intelligenza e freschezza mezzi tecnici sofisticati per un'esperienza audiovisiva che ha il suo senso ultimo in sala. E perché segue una vecchia concezione del blockbuster, che non richiede la visione e la conoscenza del materiale sterminato di uno universe, per un apprezzamento emotivo. CURIOSITÀ SU AVATAR 2: LA VIA DELL'ACQUA Il film è il sequel del kolossal Avatar del 2009.
James Cameron ha concepito la saga in cinque capitoli, al film seguiranno infatti Avatar 3, Avatar 4 e Avatar 5.
Tra il primo e il secondo film intercorrono ben tredici anni.
Le riprese sono iniziate il 25 settembre 2017 e sono terminate a fine novembre 2019.
